Published on Jul 04, 2023 17:40

USDINR July futures stayed close to the flat line on Tuesday, amid lack of cues from broadly quiet movements due to the Independence Day holiday in the United States. The pair on the NSE ended at 82.07, up 0.07% as compared to previous close at 82.01. The pair is seen under selling pressure since the start of this week. On the spot market, rupee pared initial gains and settled for the day lower by 11 paise to close at 82.02 (provisional) against the US dollar, supported by a positive tone in domestic markets and steady foreign fund inflows. At the interbank foreign exchange, the domestic unit opened at 81.90 against the dollar and settled at 82.02 (provisional), down 11 paise from its previous close.
