Muhurat Trading is a special one-hour trading session conducted on the occasion of Diwali by BSE and NSE. It marks an auspicious start to the new financial year and many investors participate, believing it will bring prosperity.

When is the Muhurat Trading Session and what are the timings?

The Diwali Muhurat Trading Session is scheduled on Friday, 1^st November, 2024.

Timings:

• Pre-Open Session - 5:45 PM to 6:00 PM
• Normal market session - 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
• Closing Session - 7:10 PM to 7:20 PM

What all products can be traded in Muhurat Trading?

During the exclusive Muhurat Trading session, the following facilities will be available:

• Buying and Selling of Stocks for both Delivery and Intraday
• Trading in Futures & Options

Please note that the following facilities will not be available during the session:

• Selling of delivery (cash) shares purchased on 31^st October
• Margin Trading Facility (MTF) for new purchases and the sale of existing positions
• eATM sell order
