NIFTY APRIL FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty April 2023 futures closed at 17,625.35, a premium of 68.3 points compared with the Nifty`s closing of 17,557.05 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 jumped 159 points or 0.91% to settle at 17,557.05.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, fell 1.37% to 12.41.

HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries (RIL) and Bajaj Finance were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The April 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 27 April 2023.
