NIFTY APRIL FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty April 2023 futures closed at 17,677, a premium of 52.95 points compared with the Nifty`s closing of 17,624.05 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 gained 24.90 points or 0.14% to settle at 17,624.05.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, jumped 4.02% to 12.27.

Tata Motors, ICICI Bank and Reliance Industries (RIL) were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The April 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 27 April 2023.
