NIFTY DECEMBER FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty December 2023 futures closed at 21,042.60, a premium of 104.9 points compared with the Nifty`s closing 20,937.70 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 added 82.60 points or 0.04% to 20,937.70.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, jumped 2.09% to 13.74.

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ), Adani Enterprises and Reliance Industries were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The December 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 28 December 2023.
