NIFTY MAY FUTURES TRADE AT PREMIUM

The Nifty May 2023 futures closed at 18,284, a premium of 28.2 points compared with the Nifty`s closing of 18,255.80 in the cash market.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 jumped 165.95 points or 0.92% to settle at 18,255.80.
The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, fell 0.90% to 11.73.
HDFC Bank, Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) and Reliance Industries (RIL) were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.
The May 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 25 May 2023.
