Nifty September futures trade at premium

The Nifty September 2023 futures closed at 19,613, a premium of 84.2 points compared with the Nifty`s closing 19,528.80 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 advanced 93.50 points or 0.48% to settle at 19,528.80.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, slipped 3.54% to 10.96.

Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The September 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 28 September 2023.
