Nifty September futures trade at premium

The Nifty September 2023 futures closed at 20,170, a premium of 36.7 points compared with the Nifty`s closing 20,133.30 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 declined 59.05 points or 0.29% to settle at 20,133.30.

The NSE`s India VIX, a gauge of market`s expectation of volatility over the near term, shed 0.61% to 10.84.

HDFC Bank, SBI and RIL were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The September 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 28 September 2023.
