Greetings from ICICIdirect!
We thank you investing in National Pension System (NPS).
We observe that you do not have a ‘Permanent Retirement Account Number’ (PRAN) card.
Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) hasmandated all National Pension System account holders to have a PRAN card. If you do not have a PRAN card, your account will get deactivated by Central Record keeping Agency (CRA).
Please follow below mentioned steps to apply for a PRAN card:
1. Visit www.cra-nsdl.com
2. Login under ‘Subscribers’ section with USER ID (user ID is your PRAN Number and password (in absence of password, click ‘Reset Password’ link to generate a new password).
3. Post login, click on ‘Demographic Changes’> ‘Update Personal Details’ > ‘Upload Photo & Signature’.
4. Upload photo and signature scan copy and validate with a One Time Password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number.
5. Lastly, you are required to ‘eSign Subscriber Registration Form’ with Aadhaar details & validate with OTP.
6. On successful eSign, your photo & signature will get updated in the CRA system and PRAN Card will be generated.
