On Allocate Funds page, click on “Add Funds from Other Banks”. Enter the amount you wish to allocate and then click on Submit.
There are four different modes to allocate funds to your account- UPI, IMPS/NEFT/RTGS, Net Banking and One Time Mandate (OTM). You can choose any one option as mode of payment among these and then click on Submit.
2. How do I transfer funds using UPI?
To transfer funds using UPI, you need to select the registered UPI Id and click on Submit. A confirmation page will appear showing details of Bank account linked to that UPI Id like Bank Name, Bank Account Number, VPA id and Amount entered by you. On submitting this page a pop-up will appear “Your request to UPI transaction successful”.
You will receive request from ICICI Securities on your registered UPI Id. Once the payment is done funds will be allocated for trading.
3. Can I change the amount to be transferred from confirmation page while using UPI?
Yes, you can change the amount which was entered earlier from confirmation page and then proceed further.
4. How do I transfer funds using Net Banking?
To transfer funds using Net Banking, you need to select the registered bank account and accept the Terms & Conditions before clicking Submit button.
Once you click on Submit you would be redirected to Bank’s official website. You need to login through Net Banking credentials and confirm the payment.
5. Where can I see the allocated amount?
The allocated amount would be seen under Trading A/c Free Balance.
6. How much time will it take to reflect in my trading account?
Allocated funds would be instantly reflected in your trading account for any mode of payment chosen.
7. How do I use the allocated amount for various segments?
You need to add funds in various segments from Trading A/c Free Balance by selecting Add action and entering required amount under Amount column besides every segment.
8. Are there any charges applied for allocation of funds?
No, there are no charges levied for deposit of funds for any mode of payment chosen.
9. How do I de-allocate funds from my Trading account?
To de-allocate funds, select Reduce radio button besides Trading A/c Free Balance and enter amount you wish to de-allocate. On Submitting the specific amount would be transferred directly to your bank account.
10. Are there any charges applied for de-allocation of funds?
Yes, Rs.9 + GST would be charged for withdrawal of funds for ICICIdirect Neo Pricing customers. But for Non-Neo customers there are no charges levied.
11. Where can I see the ledger entries related to the trading account?
The allocation/de-allocation from trading account to bank account are displayed in “General allocation log”. Additionally, the settlement balance payin payout, Neo charges entries, fund transfer charges, etc. can also be seen in these logs.
12. How will I get the refund in case of amount debited from bank balance but not allocated in Trading account?
In case amount gets debited from your bank account but not allocated in your Trading account immediately, then either you would receive trading limits within T+5 days or system would auto refund the amount after T+5 days and it would be reflected in your bank account.
13. How is the credit of de-allocated funds done in case of multiple bank accounts linked?
If you have multiple bank accounts linked then while de-allocating funds amount would be credited to your default bank account.
14. When will I be able to allocate or withdraw funds from my Trading account?
You can allocate or withdraw funds anytime during the day except 11:00 PM to 12:10 AM when allocation of funds is disallowed for daily maintenance. You can also allocate or withdraw the funds on weekends or holidays.
