News: In an exchange filing, Bank of Baroda reported slower growth in global advances at 13.6% YoY to Rs ~10.5 lakh crore, wherein domestic advances grew at 13.4% YoY to Rs 8.6 lakh crore. However, retail segment growth continued to remain strong at 22% YoY. Deposit accretion followed credit off-take with 8.3% YoY growth and 6.3% YoY in domestic deposit.
Views: Despite restriction on digital on-boarding of customers, traction in retail credit off-take remained strong, however, overall loan growth came in a tad lower.
