News: Following RJio, Airtel and Vi have also announced tariff hike wef 3rd/4th July, respectively. The incumbents tariff hike is for prepaid plans in the range of 11-20%, tad lower than Jio 12-25% increase in tariffs. Both Vi and Airtel have done 10-20% hike in postpaid plans vs. 12-17% by Jio.
View: We highlight that the tariff hike would result in stepped up ARPU of ~15%, as per our assumptions, assuming 100% pass through, three fourth of which will be seen in FY25. The hike is in line with expectations of ~15% step up hike.
