SIEMENS REPORTED DECENT SET OF NUMBERS

Siemens reported consolidated revenue of Rs 4657.1 crore which grew by 8.4% on YoY basis owing to strong performance by Mobility, Digital Industries. Gas & Power (Energy) segment grew by 3.9% to Rs 1631.6 crore; Smart Infrastructure segment grew by 9.1% to Rs 1665.8 crore, Mobility segment revenue grew by 41.7% YoY to Rs 441.8 crore and Digital industries segment revenue grew by 20.5% to Rs 944.4 crore. Gas & Power, Smart Infrastructure, Digital Industries, Mobility segments contributed by ~35%, ~35%, 20%, 9% respectively. EBITDA came in at Rs 516 crore with EBITDA margin of 11.1% (Vs. Rs 10.4% in Q4FY21). Gross margins expanded by 240bps to 32.9% on YoY basis and 70bps on QoQ basis. Reported PAT came in at Rs 381.7 crore, grew by 18.7% on YoY. Order inflows wins were decent at Rs 4009 crore, registering a growth of 25% on YoY basis led by all business segments. This has resulted into order backlog at Rs 17183 crore.

Siemens delivered decent performance despite global headwinds. Mobility segment again recorded strong growth this quarter. Strong order inflows further strengthened the already healthy order backlog. Overall, Siemens is expected to further strengthen its leadership position through further penetration of automation and digitisation products & services across segments
