News: For Q1FY23, Vardhman Special Steel (VSSL) reported a topline of Rs 469 crore, up 42% YoY and 37% QoQ. EBITDA for the quarter stood at Rs 46 crore, up 20% QoQ however down 11% YoY. The ensuing PAT for the quarter stood at Rs 30 crore, up 9% YoY and 4% QoQ.
Views: Vardhman Special Steel (VSSL) reported a steady performance for Q1FY23, aided by higher sales volumes. Sales volume for the quarter stood at 52265 tonnes, up 20% YoY and 26% QoQ. EBITDA/tonne for the quarter stood at Rs 8744/tonne as compared to Rs 9148/tonne in Q4FY22 and Rs 11684/tonne in Q1FY22.
