Q4FY24 Financial Highlights:

  • Overall Revenues stood at Rs 2,075 crore a growth of 10%
  • Record EBITDA of Rs 243 crore a growth of 27%, margin up by 156 bps to reach 11.7%
  • Highest PAT in past seven quarters of Rs 99 crore, a growth of 19%.
  • All time high AMD Revenue, EBITDA and margin of Rs 387 crore, Rs 61 crore and 15.8%
  • Net long-term debt at Rs 399 crore & ROCE improved 326 bps to 14.8%

FY24 Financial Highlights:

  • As guided, long-term debt at the end of FY24 has come down further by Rs 34 crore from December 2023 levels to close at Rs 399 crore. Total net debt stood at Rs 1,250 crore, compared to Rs 1,327 crore in March 2023.
  • Leverage ratios improved to 0.35x from 0.40x, and coverage ratio like net debt to EBITDA improved to 1.4x from 1.6x.
  • During the year the company has earned Free cash flow from operations of Rs 696 crore and spent Rs 262 crore in various capex projects. On the back of a robust business performance and a disciplined capital allocation, ROCE on a run rate of Q4 FY24 improved by 326 bps to 14.8% at the end of March 2024.
  • As per the dividend distribution policy, the Board of directors recommended a dividend of Rs 4.75/- per equity share (which include special dividend of Rs 1 /- per equity share) of face value of Rs. 10/- each, for the financial year ended March 31, 2024

Description

  • Arvind Limited is a textile company and has a market capitalization of Rs. 2,222 crores as of 23rd August '2021. It was incorporated on 1st June 1931. The company reported its total quarterly income of Rs. 1,439.43 crores as of the end of June 2021. The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange have assigned a number 500101 and scrip code ARVIND. As of 23rd August 2021, the shares of Arvind Ltd were trading at Rs.85.85.

    Arvind’s principal products/ services are finished fabrics and garments, and it is a leading conglomerate with an interest in textiles brands, retail, engineering, water treatment, and advanced material sectors. The company has a 100 million meters production capacity in denim fabric, 140 million meters production capacity in woven fabric, and has produced approximately 32 million garments in Financial Year 2020- 20. The company is slowly moving towards more and more renewable sources of energy and has managed to install 22 MW of renewable electricity generation facilities across its operations. As a result, the promoters of the company hold have decreased their holding to 42.61% in June 2021 as against 44.75% during the same period last fiscal and promoter pledged holding is insignificant i.e., 0.18%.

    In June 2021, Arvind Ltd. has seen its consolidated net loss narrowed right down to Rs 11.42 crore for the quarter ended 30th June 2021, from Rs 97.31 crore within the said quarter last year, largely on account of signs of recovery in domestic markets and growth in exports. The company’s consolidated revenue from operations, on the opposite hand, grew by the maximum amount of 140% to Rs 1,439.43 crore within the first quarter of the financial year 2021-22, from Rs 599.28 crore within the corresponding period of the previous financial year. EBITDA of the company fell to Rs. 110.10 crores in June 2021 from Rs. 216.31 crores in March 2021. EPS of the company also fell negative Rs. 0.32 as against Rs. 2.05 in March 2021, a sharp 115.61% fall on a quarter-on-quarter basis.
