  • Cholamandalam Financial Holdings Limited is a core investment company with a market capitalization of INR 12,222.97 Crores as of 27th August 2021. In 1949, Cholamandalam Financial Holdings Limited (CFHL) was incorporated. CFHL is a part of the Murugappa Group. At the end of F.Y 2021, it registered combined revenue of Rs 13,904 Crores. The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange have assigned the number 504973 and scrip code CHOLAHLDNG. As of 27th August ‘2021, Cholamandalam Financial Holdings Limited is trading at Rs. 652.90.

    It is a Core Investment Company registered with the Reserve Bank of India holding substantial investments in group companies. CFHL offers a diverse range of financial products and risk management services to individual and corporate customers through its group companies.

    It serves a large number of customers by providing loans for asset acquisition through financing, asset, and family protection through general insurance and risk management services. CFHL currently holds total assets worth Rs. 88,616 Crores. The subsidiary companies of CFHL are Cholamandalam MS General Insurance Company Limited holds 60% shares, and Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Limited holds 45.47%. The number of permanent employees on the payrolls of the group is more than 51.000. CFHL is recognized amongst Best Brands by Economic Times. Also received Appreciation by the Government of Tamil Nadu for Crop claims management and service.

The company declared a net profit after tax of Rs 357 crores for the quarter ended 30th June 2021, up from INR 213 crores for the quarter ended 31st March 2021, a 67.60% increase.
