    • Consolidated sales grew by 9% INR and 15% constant currency YoY
    • Consolidated EBITDA grew by 10% YoY
    • Consolidated net profit grew by 13% YoY (without exceptional items and one-offs)
  • Chemical Business:
    • Revenues for Q3FY23 increased by 24% & 9MFY23 increased by 47%
    • PBIT for Q3FY23 increased by 62% & 9MFY23 increased by 123%
    • Exports for 9MFY23 stood at Rs 1,102 crore
  • Real Estate Business:
    • GPL’s highest-ever quarterly sales - Q3 booking value grew by 111% YoY to Rs 3,252 crore and 9M FY23 bookings grew by 77% YoY to Rs 8,181 crore
    • Added 9 new projects with an estimated future booking value of Rs 23,050 crore added during the quarter

  • Godrej Industries Ltd., a holding company of the Godrej group, is involved in the business of finance and investment, chemicals, and real estate. Godrej Industries’ valuation on the stock exchange is Rs. 15,988 crore as of April 5, 2022, and it is a small-cap company. The company was incorporated in 1988 as The Soaps Ltd. The key faces of the company’s management are Mr Adi Godrej, Mr Ajay Kumar Vaghani, Clement Pinto, Jamshyd Godrej, and Nadir Godrej. Godrej Industries revealed a profit of Rs. 144.39 crore as of the third quarter of 2021. The company is currently listed on both NSE and BSE. Its shares are traded under the script name GODREJIND. 

    The company operates in animal feeds, crop protection, animal feeds, dairy, veg oils, chemicals, finance and investments, and a few others. The chemical segment’s product portfolio includes the manufacturing and marketing of surfactants and oleochemicals. The animal feed segment includes the sale/production of fish, cattle, etc. Whereas; the products in the vegetable oil segments are refined vanaspati, oil palm plantation, international vegetable oils, and a few more.

    The company’s revenue and profit have exceeded the industry average in the past few years. The revenue grew at an annual rate of 6.06%, whereas an annual growth of 15.79% was witnessed in the net profit. The company’s market share also surged by 0.52% during this duration. The PBIT for the past three years was Rs. 1,593.66 crore, Rs. 1573.88 crore, and Rs. 1,086.13 crore, respectively. Earnings per share for the same period were Rs. 17.53, Rs. 16.46, and Rs. 9.94, respectively. The company posted a total liability of Rs 15,412.40 crore in FY 2021, which was Rs. 4,556.33 crore higher than in FY 20.
