KNR Constructions Ltd (KNRCL) is an infrastructure project development company. It provides engineering, procurement, and construction services across roads and highways, irrigation, and urban water infrastructure management sectors. Incorporated in 1995, its corporate office is located in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.

This company has more than 20 years of experience in the civil construction and contracting sector. It has implemented complex high-value projects related to national highways, expressways, bridges, flyovers, viaducts, irrigation projects, urban development civic amenities, as well as commercial and residential projects. Its strength in project execution lies mainly in road transportation engineering projects, viz, construction and maintenance of highways, roads, bridges, and flyovers.

The company’s standalone net sales stood at Rs 847.40 crore in September 2022, up 12.15% year-on-year (Y-o-Y). In September last year, the net sales of the company were Rs 755.57 crore. Its quarterly net profits of Rs 107.55 crore in September 2022 marked a rise of 12.93% from Rs 95.24 crore in September last year.

KNRCL is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) with the code 532942. On the National Stock Exchange (NSE), its ticker is KNRCON. The total market cap of the company was Rs 7,075 crore on NSE (25 November 2022).

In the quarter ending 30 September 2022, the promoters had a 51.09% stake in the company.  Among the promoters, Kamidi Narasimha Reddy held 32.15%, Jalandhar Reddy Kamidi held 13.43%, Kamidi Yashoda owned 2.85%, while Mereddy Rajesh Reddy owned 2.67% of its shares. This apart, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) held a 34.59% stake, public (non-institutional) investors owned 8.58% shares, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) held a 5.73% stake, while the public accounted for 0.01%.
