Textiles company Raymond announced Q4FY24 & FY24 results:

FY24 Financial Highlights:

  • Highest ever annual revenues at Rs 9,286 crore.
  • Strong momentum across all businesses led to annual revenue growth by 11%.
  • Record annual EBITDA of Rs 1,575 crore and EBITDA margins at 17.0% with growth of 19% vs PY.
  • Record annual PAT of Rs 655 crore, excluding profit on sale of FMCG business, up by 24% vs PY.
  • The Board of Directors has recommended the highest ever dividend of 100%.
  • Reported highest ever EPS of Rs 98, excluding profit on sale of FMCG business.

Q4FY24 Financial Highlights:

  • Q4FY24 revenues grew by 23% over PY to highest ever at Rs 2,688 crore.
  • Highest ever quarterly EBITDA at Rs 516 crore with EBITDA margin of 19.2% in Q4FY24.

Our Lifestyle business showed strong perseverance and recorded growth despite headwinds and muted consumer demand. We remain committed to delivering value to stakeholders and are confident in our ability to capitalize on growth opportunities, ensuring sustained success in the future. We have our three verticals vis Lifestyle, Real Estate & Engineering business that are future growth engines which is in line with India’s vision of Viksit Bharat.”

    Raymond Group is a fabric and fashion retailer. It produces suiting fabric and features a manufacturing capacity of producing 31 million meters of wool and related fabrics. Raymond group owns several brands like Ethnix, Park Avenue, Park Avenue Women,
    Colorplus, Parx, etc. The group also features a business interest in various divisions such as readymade garments, designer wear, cosmetics &amp; toiletries, etc. Raymond Ltd is present in over 150 cities across India and exports to over 55 countries worldwide, including the USA, Canada, Japan, European countries, and the Middle East. As of 31st March 2021, Company had 6509 employees. Also, the Company has 3,006 employees hired on a contractual/casual basis. In addition, there were 162 women employees on 31st March 2021. The promoters of the Company own 49.12% of the stake in the Company, Foreign Institutional Investors (FII) own 8.63%, Domestic Institutional Investors (DII) own 4.17% of the stake, and others (such as public and retail investors) hold the balance of 38.07%.

    In June 2021, quarterly net revenue was Rs. 418.88 crores, which has increased by approximately 1,643.15 % from Rs. 24.03 crores for the April-June 2020 quarter. The quarterly net profit in June 2021 was Rs. 45.12 crores, which has also increased by nearly 138.13 % from a net loss of Rs. 118.33 crores in June 2020. In June 2021, the reported operating profit was at Rs. 409.89 crores, which is also increased by 1,983.83% as compared to an operating profit of Rs. 19.67 crores for the quarter ending in June 2020. From (Rs. 17.86) in June 2020, the EPS of Raymond has risen to Rs. 6.78 per share in June 2021. Raymond’s stock closed at Rs. 413.20 on 18th August’2021 (NSE) and has returned 21.14% in the last six months and 53.92% in the previous year.
