Quick Wrap: Nifty Pharma Index records a surge of 1.03%

Nifty Pharma index ended up 1.03% at 17331.25 today. The index has added 6.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Ipca Laboratories Ltd fell 3.75%, Aurobindo Pharma Ltd added 3.32% and Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd rose 2.83%. The Nifty Pharma index has increased 36.00% over last one year compared to the 18.15% spike in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Financial Services index has slid 1.00% and Nifty Services Sector index is down 0.93% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has dropped 0.51% to close at 21462.25 while the SENSEX has declined 0.44% to close at 71186.86 today.
