Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index gains 3.88%, NIFTY climbs 1.23%

Nifty Realty index ended up 3.88% at 772.55 today. The index has gained 16.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Swan Energy Ltd rose 7.90%, Godrej Properties Ltd added 6.58% and Brigade Enterprises Ltd jumped 4.80%. The Nifty Realty index has soared 71.00% over last one year compared to the 13.52% increase in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty IT index gained 3.50% and Nifty Services Sector index added 1.72% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 recorded a gain of 1.23% to close at 21182.7 while the SENSEX increased 1.34% to close at 70514.2 today.
